I had hoped to start knocking off my goals left and right with both fists and jumping in with both feet. Possibly using a few more clichés to make it sound more interesting too. But anyway, here it goes.
I am in a rut and if I ever want to get out, I need to set some goals. So leading up to my recent birthday, that is exactly what I did. I thought about the things I wanted to accomplish, this year and in life, some in the name of self improvement and others truly frivolous. I hit the key board and pounded out that list. One of the goals on the list is to set up a record of the goals and their progress through a blog. As of yet, I have not set up the blog, so I am just emailing myself this update...to be included at my earliest convenience. I figure if I make myself just start, it will be easier to go as time moves along. I haven't really set up any hard and fast rules for my goals. Some of them even my contribute toward others, whether directly or because of a common purpose or motivation. Others are in direct conflict, but that's okay. I hope that taken as a whole, this list will make me a more motivated, organized, and balanced person. So with no further ado, and in no particular order, I present the list:
